During this consultation, the surgeon may advise you to:
-
Perform aOligoscan : this involves highlighting deficiencies and/or excesses in trace minerals having a direct consequence on hair loss and hair quality.
-
Carry out a blood test and a blood test in order to anticipate any problems and therefore decide whether the operation is feasible or not.
-
Carry out one or more PRP sessions(Platelet Rich Plasma) in order to strengthen the hair and mainly the donor area.

Before a hair transplant, you should know that there are instructions to follow:
-
Avoid taking aspirin before surgery
-
Avoid drinking alcohol before the procedure and any drinks containing alcohol
-
Avoid smoking before hair transplant
-
Avoid putting gel on your hair
-
Avoid clothes that pull on around the neck
On D-1: shampoo
The scalp must be stimulated to ensure good regrowth of hair implants. It is therefore necessary to shampoo the day before your procedure, using your usual shampoo. Avoid putting gel or any other styling product on your hair.
On the big day: wear appropriate clothing
On the day of the procedure, it is recommended to wear clothing that avoids contact between your head and clothing to preserve your grafts. This is why it is advisable to opt for a shirt or t-shirt with a wide collar. Also choose clothing that allows you to lie down comfortably because the operation lasts at least 3 hours.
